# Software for Ecommerce & Direct-to-Consumer Brands

A website that explains the product is not a store. We build online stores on the catalog, pricing and fulfilment rules you actually have, then host and run them, and we run one of our own: ANVIL Floor Systems sells industrial floor coatings direct to homeowners across the US.

## What we see in this sector

- The site is a brochure. The order still happens by phone or email.
- Product pages, pricing and stock live in three places that disagree.
- Checkout, shipping, tax and payments were bolted on one plugin at a time.
- A platform takes a percentage of every sale, and the fee grows with you.
- Nobody can say which pages actually produce sales.

## How we solve it

- **Platforms, Portals & Marketplaces**: Two-sided marketplaces, customer and dealer portals, dashboards and rules engines, built from the ground up.
- **Workflow & Process Automation**: Turn email chains, manual approvals, and copy-paste busywork into software that runs itself.
- **Data, Reporting & Visibility**: One clean source of truth, and the numbers to prove the business is improving.

## Questions

### Shopify, or custom?

Sometimes Shopify. If a standard platform fits your catalog, pricing and fulfilment without contortion, we will say so and lose the build. Custom wins when the product is configured, priced from measurements, sold B2B as well as direct, or when a per-sale platform fee has become a line item you notice.

### We already have a website. Do we start over?

Not necessarily. If the catalog and checkout are sound we build on them. If the site is a brochure with a cart bolted on, a rebuild is usually cheaper than the third round of patches, and we show you the numbers before you decide.

### Do you actually run a store yourselves?

Yes. anvilfloors.com is ours: a direct-to-consumer store for garage floor coating kits with a photo visualizer, kits priced from the customer’s own floor dimensions, and a commerce engine we wrote end to end. We host and operate it every day.
